Wrong Side Up 2010 Summer Points Series

Beginning Saturday June 12th 2010 the Wrong Side Up Crawlers club will be holding a summer series at Miramar Regional Park, beginning at 3pm in the afternoon until dusk'ish. They will happen every other week through the end of September, unless an SSRCC event is taking place, our event will be cancelled so we can attend the SSRCC event.

These comps are meant as a training ground for the state based SSRCC events, not as competition for SSRCC. We are also members of SSRCC that travel to the state events.

The competitions will adhere to USRCCA rules as our "practice" comps have, but are in no way affiliated with the USRCCA. Thier rules will be followed to help us grow as drivers, judges, people, and friends. Time permitting, comps will consist of 3 courses and a finals course, with 7-10 gates per course. 5 minute limit on 7 and 8 gate courses, 6 minute limit on 9 and 10 gate courses.

In the event of a rain out prior to all drivers completing course three, the event will be considered as canceled. If all drivers have complete course 3, score will be tallied and places will be awarded as it stands.

The comps will be free of charge and just for bragging rights! The only cost is the $1.50 paid to the park to get in on the weekends.

It will be a fun time and we look forward to seeing some old and hopefully new faces out there. Anyone is welcome to come and drive, again this is just a training grounds with a silly name for the group.

only one suggestion never include money into something that is fun and enjoyable will turn freindly comps into a every man for them self's event. Just my 2 cents, but good luck with it.

Every reverse or "Mirco" will be argued to the inth degree.
Thats why i have no real desire to do the Southern Cup deal.

Great points to make it free The main goal is fun and money can ruin fun. Anyone else chime in? If not, free they be!


edit: now set in stone, the comps will be free! remember $1.50 to get into the park.

We start this weekend guys I have edited the first post with current information. I may work on a trophy for the series winner, it will depend on how much free time I have. It will be something made, not bought.

Remember guys, these events are to help us grow as drivers, not meant to compete with the SSRCC series. If an SSRCC event falls on a weekend we would normally comp, our event will be canceled for that week as most of us will be traveling to the SSRCC event!

We are not a club in competition with our fellow Floridian's, we are a club to help guys in the tri county area or beyond if you are willing to make the drive to improve driver skill, learn judging skills, learn course building skills, and most importantly to have fun.
