| My project; Ugly Betty This car was based of a ax10 kit and got its name from the Betty-body that came with the kit. This is the lastest version of the project. The idea behind this rebuild is to lower the center of gravity. The previous version was a bit top heavy and rolled way to often :-) Here is a link to the build-thread on www.norcc.com Mitt Formula Offroad Prosjekt; UGLY BETTY :-) Tell me what you think.. here is a video of the first version, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwY-tzTb4Ag Here is the second version; Now with a new body http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cec2...feature=relmfu Last edited by jlhustad; 04-05-2012 at 03:39 PM. |

I've been out filming a bit with my GoPro HD 2. If I get the time I'll have a clip on youtube this weekend (will put a link here). Shall I put some music on or do you want to listen to the soudtrack of the traxxas velineon vxl 3s system ?

First of: thanks for the comments! Here is what's going on whith my build these days: Just recived a set of HPI 2.2 spike wheels, some JunFak 19mm wheel-wideners (now running with 13mm) and a robinson racing 48P 32T pinion. I 've also ordered a set of 2.2 MC CHROME BEADLOCKs. I'll put Sandpaws the HPI wheels and Panthers on me MCs. The plan is to se which tires works best in the local sandpit. I know the motor can handle the taller gearing and will give my car more pushing-power. I am also planning a new video clip. This time I'll try to make an effort :-) Meaning better editing and sound. The clip will contain some sandpit driving and water-skipping (Off course with the Go pro on the car). |
