Looks good. This is a great idea and it looks like it works prett good too..

Seeing this gives me some ideas about cutting a delrin or carbon fiber chassis and bulkheads for something like this..

Good work.

Thank you.He weighs in at a hefty 7 pounds with no batteries and body and 8 pounds with two batteries and the body. I probably could lose some weight if I went to plastic tranny case in the rear , get rid of the losi big bores and used the slash's plastic chassis but what fun is that

Well I had plans of playing in fresh powder but mother nature had diffrent plans, it warmed up to 40 and it is raining I have 8ins of water in my front yard So when it stops I will try again. So I took and used the extra time I had to get the outer wears mounted. I took some 10mil lexan and cut a 2in x 24in band and mounted it to the chassis then stuck the velcro for the cover to the lexan. Heres some pics.

I had some time to run franky some this weekend and learned I was way over geared for the paddles and snow,my batteries told me right away they got a little on the warm side So I regeared then went out and gave it good test run and bent all four of the axle extenders Now I have some buggie wheels on and geared it faster again. I think I will sell the paddles and buy some diffrent wheels and tires. Sorry no video yet but will post some pics later.

I tought I would give a little update. With only 4 runs on franky I'm learning to dial in a few things I was running each esc on there own battery but one would go to low voltage before the other so I made a parallel wiring harness so now they drain the same and it gives me a 7.4v 10,000 mah battery I still dont know what tires and wheels to get yet. I bought a flysky gt2 2.4gh radio at the first of this build and used 4 times and it bit the dust the steering servo started chatter and make other noises then just quit working also the escs would glitch and make the motors jump, I pulled it out and put my futaba 2.4 much better now I got a little time to run it today heres some pics sorry no vid by the time I tinkered with the truck the light was to bad for it. We are still having short days here but we are back up to 7hrs of daylight we got down to 4hrs and 56mins and are gaining almost 5mins a day.
