It's printed onto clear vinyl and applicated to the aluminium. The ones in the first photo are actually a 2nd set that I could fit onto the inside of the standard acrylic panels. The printer is one of these (prints 1300mm/54" wide) And the router is one of these (1500x3000mm/5x10' bed size) Last edited by neil_se; 08-24-2010 at 07:24 PM. |

It must be nice having those at you disposal. So when are you going to start turning out some custom Chassis, skid plates, four link plates and the link.

Hehe, too fiddly to bother with when there's other people making them in bulk with more advanced machines. It's just nice to be able to make a few bits for myself, it'd be too time consuming to make small run custom stuff. I just bought a standard Junfac steering arm skid plate, I don't have a metal folder and it'd take a lot more time to design the thing than the $14 or whatever it costs from them.

Ah I gotcha, still too much hassle :p At least the panels are just 2D cut shapes of sheet metal.
