Well it finally came in! Unfortunately the Hex conversion screw kit is still en route so I'm at a stand still with the kit till I get that in from Hexcrews. I did get the bearings, Delrin skidplate, axle pins and 13.5 motor from Fantom though. I just hope that the 13.5 with a High torque rotor will be enough. I'm thinking I should have maybe gone a little higher maybe even a 17.5? Any thoughts? Cannot post a pic so here it is Here are some build pics I too had issues with motor placement and the Delrin plate. Last edited by Crawlerfiend; 02-04-2013 at 10:34 AM. |

First thing you will need to do is upgrade the axle shafts,my buddy has one running stock engine has already broken the dogbone ball of the end of the shaft so just be cautious!

Cool! Yes. Upgrade the axles, CHubs and knuckles. I made custom axles, but from what I've been reading is SuperShafty is coming out with a conversion kit. Read my sig for my XVD mod.

Well she's completed! I do have some parts on order and will post up picks when they come in. The only thing is that I wish that the suspension wasn't so hard I hope that the piggyback system will loosen things up a bit. Please comment!

Looks good, man. The green panels and red anodized aluminum look like Christmas, haha. I've got a r1 coming in the mail, can't wait to get started!
