The optional bumper attaches to the frame like the SCX10, I agree its stupid you have to buy it, but it does exist.

My stash was quite positive, only missing 6mm screws and tapping screws. This evenings result: https://goo.gl/photos/m7kxxjosCf3aKdkJ7 https://goo.gl/photos/GH4t78xYL56SSe7s8 Sorry but I can't seem to post proper pics from my phone using Google pictures. One question about the shocks, following the manual I find that there is only about 1.5cm travel?? Would using the 4 hole pistons and also closing the shock fully extended help with both a plush drive and total shock length? Haven't tried these reverse type shocks before... |

Stock for stock the Gmade transmission is way more durable than the scx10 tranny.

I would think the stock gears would hold up better. Just look at the pitch difference between the two. With that being said I've never had issues with stock SCX gears and it does have a slipper for added protection. I plan on running the 3300KV HH stubby motor on 3s so if they hold up to that they should be good.

I had that motor in my Wraith. I won't run it at 100% but it still crawls slow and smooth but wheel speed is really good.

Funny, yet also annoying to hear about the philips screws. I used many nasty words on my R1 and seeked for redemption on Aliexpress by getting a bunch of carbon black hexes. Switched every single screw out. One might think that GMade should be evolved more into the common age... (With that said, i love my R1. Funfactor is humongous!) |
