| Looking at a Gmade R1
May be getting an R1 soon in kit form. I see it comes with phillips head screws, is there a hex set for this model that someone could link?

Thanks for the link, any idea if there is a black oxide kit available instead of stainless?

I don't know of a kit per se, but go here: Allen Screw Conversion photobucket didn't entirely ruin message forums... right click, view image, and you'll find an itemized hardware list so you can source them from your vendor of choice.

I prefer the stainless hardware until my driver won’t hold them. Lol. Unless you must have the portal axles. There have been several quality builds off of this chassis using scx10 or other brand axles. You won’t necessarily save any coin if you don’t have a donor rig or the tranny/axles already, though. |
