| Yeti for a GOM
I'm debating selling my built up Yeti and building a GOM. I have been thinking about getting a bomber in place of the Yeti for a while now so that I can have a rig that crawls a little better. My yeti has all the bells and whistles including a 2 speed and I really love it but I've had it for a year and a half and I'd love to build something else. Am I going to regret the GOM? |

from the point of front suspension design, The advantage of IFS will be very stable in high speed bashing than solid axle. |

A Bomber and a GOM will both crawl way more than “a little better” over a Yeti IMO. The Bomber for sure does, and I would be shocked if someone said otherwise about the GOM. You should sell the Yeti if you are done enjoying it or don’t enjoy it and add a Bomber or GOM to the garage. And is a better choice than Or Last edited by smog; 12-27-2017 at 08:36 PM. |

I still want a go fast rig but it doesn't need to be as crazy as the Yeti. Will the GOM hold up to some speed and a brushless sensored motor?

A Bomber will. I can’t speak for GOM in that department, it’s possible you might need some upgrades.

Ive done a Rock Rey. It’s pretty much the same as the yeti but harder to work on and less parts available. I liked the yeti better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

Okay then maybe Bomber will be good for you. Can be very stable and fast and yet still crawl very well. Just like my Wraith ( very similar to bomber ) cheers |

I’m going to muddy things up here. You should build an IFS Bomber. Will crawl and go faster than the GOM or solid axle bomber. Hang up and Drive |

Hear that ! My Yeti loves dollars, the Wraith has a bunch, but solid. I had a R1 and it was OK.... not bad, not great. Limited turning and upgrade parts is the Gmade downfall. Hang up and Drive |

I have a Yeti Score ( Brushless ) Bomber Brushless and Ive just built 2 x Brushed GOM. Keep the Yeti for bashing, neither the Bomber or GOM will come close. If going brushless I would get a Bomber over a GOM, GOM has some plastic gears in the transmission. The GOM does has a wider wheelbase and the weight distro is superb. Bomber has better parts out of the kit and better steering.

I had those plastic gears in the R1brushless, 3s no wear or issues at all....robust gears. Its the shafts that will fail.
