| Gmade Zero Ackerman kit.
Well you can't actually call it a kit as you HAVE to buy both items separate! The new knuckle arms are very well made and are nice and clean while the new steering arm are blasted for the main link and polished for the servo link! While i threw it together in no time at all the ONE big thing i forgot to do was PUT the servo rod between Chassis and leaf spring! otherwise it won't work LOL, Anyway you should spot how much extra steering you get with this kit. Cheers. Steve. |

Will this fit the R1 as well? I think the sawback stock knuckles are the same as the R1 so I'm guessing these might fit it.. If anyone can confirm it'd be great |

Yes they will fit. Rpp even list them under R1/Sawback. But you can get the exact amount of steering with the stock plastic knuckles with very little work and they are beefy enough to still be durable.

Sorry for the crappy pictures. The girlfriend had the good camera and I kicked her out before I got some good pic's First off you have to have cv's. Clearance the back of the knuckle where it hits on the c-hub and where it'll rub the axle. Do more or less the same on the front side of the knuckle/arm where it hits the c-hub and also cut or grind a small notch in the front of the hub where the arm hits it. This will be less material the has to be removed from the arm where the tie-rod connects. Confused yet? I am lol. I stopped just short of the tires hitting the springs Not sure if you can tell anything from those pictures are not. I took them and I can't make out what they are This mod also works on the R1 axles. For some reason I didn't seem to get quite as much steering angle with the R1 axle, but it's still a drastic improvement, and if you put the Sawback gears in the rear diff of the R1 it'll help with the steering too. Putting R1 gears in the front diff on the Sawback did wonders too! Last edited by Jeepiac; 09-06-2015 at 09:05 PM. |

| Re: Gmade Zero Ackerman kit. I see people show up at local crawls with a new shiny Sawback and they never bring them back. They go back to what they know (scx10) before they ever really learn the wonders of this little leafer. I've been so impressed with this crawler I'm buying the new Gmade kit soon as it hits the market. I was going to build a 4 link Sawback anyway, but it looks like they're doing it for me |

Yes, you'll need the zero ackerman specific steering linkage otherwise tie-rod will be too short. | |

[QUOTE=Natedog;5310608]Thanks for posting this sweet new steering "kit". What front bumper is that on your Jeep? The front bumper is from Gmade bud. http://www.junfac.com/shop/index.php...roducts_id=666 |
