Default Best racer/ crawler shocks?

Need a 80mm prefered or possibly 90mm shock for my 2.2 rock racer/formula/crawler project. Something smooth and can be set fairly soft for crawling but good dampening for jumping, etc.

They make 100mm "crawler" shocks that come with fuel line to make limiters and they are about the same as their 1/10 truck rear shocks. You might check out losi front 1/10 truck and rear 1/10 buggy shocks, they are slightly shorter.

HPI A723, no doubt about it in my mind. Super smooth, don't leak much, and have a spherical ball in the cap.

StormerHobbies, Tower, and HPI all seem to be out of stock right now though.

I have a set on my 1.9 truggy. Clicky

Not really. They are pretty stiff, not completely unusable but fairly stiff.

I used the stock springs on the front because the shocks are angled in so much. In the rear I had to use a Losi 2" spring because it was softer.
