I would have saw it and said to myself, "Self, no need to worry about that truck."

Thanks Rocky, yep, I just figured ther had to be a better way than drop $500 on axles ad wheels.

What's going on here?

What is that a Clod with some homemade axles and some kind of like, aluminum outer parts? It can't be a Clod, who would run a Clod in 2.2? What forum am I in? Non Crawler RCs?

I just don't see that thing working at all. I don't like it.

Chassis is pretty cool though.

Of course you have no need to worry. You'd have to actually show up at Nationals and compete to have to worry about beating or getting beat by anyone.

Can't wait to see these in Person.

I'll compare them to my set up. I thought I had mine down to 10.5in. I did when I ran stock shafts and Skinner Tires. I'm at 11in with TTR CVD's and HB Rovers. My Rovers are at 1.25in wide. I like that 1.25in wide wheel, b/c it covers the Axle C's up more and keeps them from getting hit by rocks. I'm very hard with my set up and I don't let up when others would. I've tried everything to break my set up. Just short of throwing it from a bridge.

Very nice.
Makes me think I might have to pull out my Clod and do something with it.
Right now it's a very expensive dust collector.

Lookin good Chrizzly bear. Now that you have some rovers you need to come out again and beat on it.

Good to see thread on this rig Grizz, always a pleasure to watch it work. I'm also excited about more options for MOA.
Here's a few pictures of it in action.
I'll see if I can find more later if you would like.

Thanks Jarod. They may not end up being as strong as your setup, but they have been super reliable over the last 4 months.

That's what my axles were doing, collecting dust on the shelf.

I laughed when I was checking this rig out for like the 4th or 5th time before I said " Is this narrower than stock"? I thought it looked different But Grizz has been playing with the Clod 2.2 for so long I never even looked close enough to realize it wasn't "normal"

Freaking awesome Chris. I knew you wouldn't let the cat out of the bag until the bugs were worked out, and that means I'll get mine soon

Seriously I like this idea better than the berg axles. Clod parts and axial parts are super easy to get, CVD's are available, tons of wheels available, and I'll be giving the bulk of the money to a local boy instead of some anonymous company like EnRoute which may well go tits up in a year. And you'd have to work really hard to break plastic clod gears in a 2.2. I think I found my new 2.2 comp rig
