Despite this build being completely insane!, I will be watching intently. I know you have great concepts and do great work so I am sure this will turn out bad ass...and probably dangerous!

More work!

Set the bender up outside, and began bending the rear upper frame. It's symmetrical to the front.





Mocked up on the rear:





In case you're wondering what's going on in the background- Bug's Volvo C304 6x6 is getting a Mercedes 617 Turbo Diesel!





Here's the upper frame cut and fit together with inserts:



Here's the upper turned upside-down with the lower chassis sides mocked up. We fish-mouthed the side to connect with the upper chassis, but I didnt take any pics.



Not bad for a saturday! Next up is buying shocks and the rest of the link hardware, and Bug will get some tubing for the links!

the cage has to be a minimum of 30"X125"X50" to pass specs!

Damnit, i was just going to ask about the engine in that mercedes in the background. i need a turbo'd engine for my car...darn you bug!
