that is soo cool , and very close to what ive been wanting to build.

ive wanted a mini buggy 4x4 for so long now.
but around here zuki axles are just as much as a set of yota axles. which are too big.
a go-cart sized single seat buggy with some 32'' tsl's hydro steering , mabey a bike engine and a zuki transfercase.
man that would be soo much more fun than a quad.
anybody ever see anything like this?

Thanks!

I've never seen anything like this. Most of the big 1:1 RC stuff is almost always a regular car or truck converted to RC- not a purpose-built R/C buggy with no allowance for a human.

Actually, we spend a rare free day or 2 every 3 months or so on it. I wouldnt call that 'too much time!'

It's called the "Felskriecher."

Spent another weekend on it!

- Tacked the basic frame tubes together
- Mocked up temporary engine mounts and tacked them all in. The Engine is now supported in the frame.
- Got shocks and stripped them down. They are now mocked up in proper position.
- Lower links are measure and 2 are cut, one is complete.
- Many little problems solved and discussed. We need to buy more material for the next work party.

After the next work session it should be sitting on it's own suspension. The work party after that we'll position all the engine bits, battery, fuel cell, and try to start it.

Pics:

Now that the weather is starting to behave we'll be able to put in more time! We're aiming to have it moving around by the end of the year.
