I didn't take the pic but i hope it is ;) Chambiec1 where are ya? I know pop cans are a little over 4-3/4" and the bottom of the tire looks below the top of these two cans so it has to be at 8-3/4" - 9" Last edited by NickRummy; 12-19-2005 at 01:06 PM. |

13" of flex from a nylint is way way to much but if you have 13 it only works where it looks good and that is on a shelf The only way to reach 13" from a nylint is for the rear axle to be at 90* and the front to be another 1.25" off the ground which every crawler on this site knows is way overboard in the flex part of a "good" rock crawler.

You guys are a bunch of posers taking flex shots with your bodies off the rig. Try leaving the body on and then taking flex pics. |

Heres mine and my buddy's. I don't have a body yet and I get over 2 pop cans. He can get 2 pop cans also and more if he cuts the body up some. |

13" is not possible. With the axle standing straight up, perpendicular to the ground, there is 12" from the floor to the bottom of the top tire. Unless you are counting the top of the tire, which is retarted. |

I just looked this thread up in the Websters dictionary. gay adj. gay·er, gay·est 1. Of, relating to, or taking pictures of articulation with no body on. |

^ 1 1 1 The first nigt I got mine with just the shocks inboarded I got a little over 9". I would say that 10" is plenty for a rig that you want to do more with than just sit on Pepsi cans... |

The only suspension mod I would do on anything to get more flex is 4 link it and longer shocks stood stright vertical both ways or pretty close to vertical. On a nylint the first shock and spring mod I would do is put savages on it so you have real shocks not those poor frictions and then get the tri-rate springs to increase the downward tire pressure and keep body roll to a minimum. All the junk you guys are doing is exactly like me and badger stated, only works on a shelfqueen, if you take it out on the fun off camber stuff you wont make it very far at all.

I dont wheel mine with a body anyway so its real time flex. The body is more for the guys who want to look cool IMO. I dont just take mine out without the body to see flex and bring it back in. I wheel it like that. Sometimes with a body sometimes not. | |
