More torque is just going to be more broken parts. After stopping the gears from skipping, twisting the centers out of the nylint wheels, now its twisting the cross pin out of the gear on the end of the reduction.

Enough talk about moms.


If you're going to replace the motors replace them in pairs so that you get 2 motors in there with close Kv values so both axles spin at equal speeds.

The Rat Shack sells 280 sized 7.2v motors for ~$5 each.

Be careful you don't purchase the 3v ones or you'll burn them up. (btw: the speed at 6 volts would be outrageous for the little while they last).
