Why would you want to put a bigger moter in it. Its not worth it ! IT WILL GRIND THE GEARS!!!!!!!!!!! |

The guy at the Hobby store told me That you can run the motor in WD-40 for hr or so and it would make it like a brushless motor. So he said. I don't know if thats true or not. But that would give a little more power.

Yea i have 4 and there in my nylints! And im not sellin them. Instead of buying a moter why dont you just buy another nylint or call customer support.

Radio shack should have the motors. a 280 motor isn't that hard to find.

you might even be able to purchase some 280 motors from the hobby shop... i think the mini quake/mini-z/mini mauler/mini-t/xmods/mini giant/micro rs4.... i know at least one of them uses a 280 size motor and most of them offer upgraded motors to.. same size.. see your hobby shop... well.. not the one that suggested the wd40 idea... go somewhere else where they know what they are talkin about. I have only heard of droppin the motor while running in a glass of watter to break in the brushes... wd40 no.

The stock AE 280's would be a better option, they have much more torque and less rpm's.
