Default custom tranny

ok guys i was thinking of building a custom tranny for the tlt project i have coming up. i was just wandering if there were any done befor. and could someone tell me which gears i should use to get the most torque/best gear ratio. this thing is just going to be a craweler/bogger. if u could, could u please post links to previos tranny builds. thanks, peace. John

also use the search feature. search for custom tranny.


i thought i would tell you to use the search feature before one of the flamers or else you would never here the end of it.

i did a search for custom tranny, but in every post on this everlovin board someone says tranny. and than after i posted this came back about 30 mins later thers the post right above/below mines. and wtf is up with the flamers around here? did diggler crawl up there *** and stay there? hehe jp. peace

ok guys ive figured out what gears im going to use. 12 or 10t pinion, 48t spur, 21t idler, 67t spur, 44t diff. i was wondering if any of you could tell me the gear ratio id have. if you have any other suggestions please post them. this rig is going to be a rock crawler/ mud bogger. thanks for the help guys. peace. john
