NICE! I would have killed to have something like that when I was younger. Now that I own a home..... I'm too lazy to put in all that work. lol.

Default Newest Pics

Was able to get a couple more bags of concrete down and painted up the bridge so it didn't look so non-scale....

Unfortunately, the cats have found the roadway for the trucks and started dropping more obstacles for me to get around. Definitely don't want to clean that stuff out of the tires....

Hey thats a pretty awesome setup you have there.Depending how much ran you get in your area, you might want to water seal that wood so it last longer under that plastic.Home depot has it in arisal cans.

Default Snow makes for slow progress...

Well the snow came, again..... and as we were getting so close to completion.
So, in the interim, I got around to painting another body for my truck. I don't know if I'll ever put this one on... but it occupied some of my time and allowed me to practice painting lexan bodies.

We just went by the instructions and add 1 bottle of quickcrete color to 2 80lb bags of concrete and it seems to work well. Just make sure to mix it in with water before adding it to the concrete if your mixing by hand... much easier to get uniform color that way. My first attempt at coloring didn't go as planned, but nothing a little dirt wont hide.

I think we are going to steal the idea of the 2 lane mud run also between the cabin and ramp to the bridge. Just gotta water proof my truck first.

For our build, we wanted to go as cheap... I mean, inexpensive as possible. Soon, there will be a border around the whole thing, alot more rock, and hopefully we will have a nice rockgarden the wife will be happy with.

Default First Video Driving on new course

Course is not totally done yet. Still need to find some 1/10 scale Bud Light cans or bottles to put on the porch of the cabin.

Here's a real quick video of my scx-10 driving on the course.
