thats looking pretty nice, if i was gonna 4 link mine, this is what i think i would do. place the long arms where the normal blue monnts, then on the out side of where the bottum of the shock mounts (to the axle) drill a hole in the side. then connect your rod. for the inside make up a little backet so that you can mount it to the straight up and down black chassis piece, then drill a hole all the way through the center holder on the axle and then just get a long bolt.

Once you get it four linked, I think it would be scale enough for the "Scale" forum. Its just like a clod at that point, but with some killer tires and a nice hardbody. Keep up the good work, have fun with it. I have thought about doing the same thing with my small nylint axles since the board is fried. |

UPDATE. not sure if its worth updating this thread but... i added about 75 bb's to each tire (HUGE noticable difference), did a comp cut, and new paint job. the body looks crappy because before it was dry.. if fell off my desk onto the carpet, so it has.... "texture" now. but it looks like butt |

well heres a HUGE update. well not huge, just way different from before. i changed the body (tamiya blackfoot body) and started a rear 4-link. (home-made links). heres some pics, these four links have mad flex. i think i like this body has working headlights, well not at the time, i have to fix the wiring. tell me what you guys think *edit* actually, theoretically, a 2-link should work just fine. the axles dont move side to side, can somebody tell me why i should finish it to a 4 link instead? seems like 2 would work fine Last edited by JaxChrisYJ; 06-11-2006 at 10:13 PM. |
