Pretty much like any battery, their performance will drop off as they get colder. I can't say they do better/worse than a NiCD or NiMH, but pretty much ANY battery will lose performance when cold. I would keep charged batteries somewhere warm (inside the house, in your car/truck, maybe pocket) until needed. You could also do an ammo box with a couple of "hand warmers" inside with the batteries. |
