Default Where to find 32p 20t 5mm gears?

I need 2 steel 32p 20t 5mm bore gears. I've seen a few that are .8 mod, is that the same?

Will 2 .8 mod gears work in place of 2 32p gears?

.8 MOD is close enough that it will mesh with a 32P gear, I've used them to make home made dig units mixing old Tamiya Bruiser trans gears and the shift collars without any issues. Robinson Racing is probably the best place to find gears like this.

TRA5646 as BigSki says, it's compatable with 32p. Never used that setup.

Found these too. AL though.

Mod 1 & mod.8 are not the same !!
just a little different on the tooth angle.

try-ed a mod 1 pinion on a traxxas spur gear & they were not happy working together.

AMain Hobby has them, & in stock

Sooo, is Mod 1 the same as .8? Or the same as 32p standard?

32p standard measures roughly to be just under .75" I believe.

I need 2 gears to fit in place of 32p 20t on a 5mm shaft!

In a bad way!

if all that matters is the diameter of the gears and not pitch they are all real close there. it sounds like you are working with a fixed space? not a gear mesh between same pitched gears?

Correct, a fixed space, I need replacement for some custom gears.

Sounds like .8 mod is .70?

Mod. 1 is 25.4 teeth per inch
.8 is 31.75 teeth per inch
32 P is 32 teeth per inch

So looking at that mod 1 wont match up with the same tooth count for a fixed space..

this looks pretty reliable to other source's I have found only formated for what we do

Notes on Spur Gears
Thank you for that, I can't believe that didn't come up in my google search!

I'm thinking that .8 should work!

Mod .8 and 32p will mesh up, as was said. It will be noisier than a matching gear though.

Mod 1 is normally 1/8 gearing.

I've had decent luck with rcmonster mod1 and mod.8 pinions
