Axial backorder?

Just wondering whats up? My lhs guy and i have been trying to get parts for our wraiths(and my scx10) and everything is out of stock at great planes which is their only axial distributor. Is this normal when a company get bought out?

I deal with multiple places and they are all out of a lot of parts from Wraith to SCX10 We usually stock a large a mount and our supply is running low if not out and many needed items. Sorry to all of our loyal customers unfortunately This stock lapse is triple the time I usually experience. So know you LHS is not feeding you a line of BS.

Any info on what the deal is? They moving production or something? I noticed almost no one has the 1.9 beadlocks in stock right now, thought maybe they were discontinuing then since the new kits have the non beadlock wheels.

I have not seen the black or silver beadlocks discontinued yet. I think Christmas cleaned them and everyone out and Chinese New Year I think is affecting get re stocked I think is a possibility.

I've found a few tiny places online that have scx-10 honcho trucks in stock, the older version with the bead lock wheels.. Decent prices too.. A fella might do well to purchase a couple and part them out.
Try www.trailgear.ca ( I think that was one of the shops) they are an offroad 1:1 truck part store.

Every day this just gets worse and worse.. All the places I shop online are showing "out of stock" on nearly every wearable Axial part. Can't find a 2.2 beadlock to save your life.. And if you're in need of axles you might as well just forget the truck you have and buy a new truck.. at least then you have some parts..

Stormer hobbies just sent me a notice today saying my 2 locked axles were sent out.. They had been on back order for ages,, so they must have gotten some axial stock.. I bet other must have received some as well.

Still waiting for my 1.9 beadlocks I ordered from Great Hobbies a month ago. Good thing I don't need them in a hurry.

Got an email a few hours ago saying they have shipped and I should be getting them tomorrow. Hopefully Axial can get everything sorted out sooner rather than later.
