| Axial style wheel bearings. Sloppy?
I run an RS10, which uses axial hubs, knuckles, and bearings. I noticed they seem to have a bit of slop-and-play in them. Are they all like this? or are there some heavy duty bearing that have completely no slop at all? I haven't tried any other or aftermarket bearings yet. Anyone no where to start looking?

Avid rc Acer Boca The more expensive bearings have much better tolerances. Some are just stupid expensive. Skip the $200 sets. lol I run Avids in my racers because they are used up after one season and get replaced every year. My crawlers have both Boca and Acer ceramics because they wear less in a crawler and have less slop. Justified expense when they last years. |
