Tekin fxr waterproof?

Is the fxr esc waterproof and if not has anyone have a good way to waterproof it ive only waterproofed a heatsinked esc so not sure how to do one without

Time to bust out the plasti dip ...if your familar with dj medics videos, he shows how to use plasti dip, and i believe the esc he used in video i watched was an fxr esc ....i personally use larger ballons and cut some of the neck and stretch it over the esc and same with the receiver, i then use a zap strap on the protruding wires down low on the ballon and have never had a problem. ..hope this helps

Do uk if the fxr is small enough to fit in a scx10 receiver box and yes im familiar with good ol plstidip

I had my fxr in my stock axial receiver box..had to do some fabbing to get cover just right..

I use the Tekin RS, both are about the same size.

I would not recommend putting it in the rx box due to heat.

I used liquid tape around the case and circuit board. Leave the post exposed to allow heat to escape. I ran mine in snow and consider it splash resistant. I do not really want to test it by submerging it in water, if I do I will post it.

I actually just dipped one last night. I have run them like this and submerged the truck completely with no issues, but that is done at your own risk.

Well I might hold off on the tekin combo cuz im gonna invest in a spectrum radio and a couple recivers getting old using a diff radio for each truck. But hey thanks for the pics looks a lot cleaner then when I did my servos lol
