Default best place to buy rc hardware?

I'm working on an axial exo. I got a roller to start with. I'm slowly gathering the parts I need to put it together. The more parts I get for it, I realize how much hardware I'm missing . I don't want to use just any old screws I can find at the hardware store or lowes or menards, etc.
I'd like to use the screws that are supposed to be in there. But I really dont want to spend an average of 30 to 50 cents per screw that axial wants for them
Where would be the best (and cheapest) way to get them?

microfasteners.com is my favorite. Also fastener express is good too. Micro is in NJ and express is in CA.

I've compared prices and found micro to be just a bit cheaper. I would choose based on where you live, as the shipping will probably tip the balance in favor of one or the other price wise.

Also, I find micro's site to be easier to navigate and find what I need.

My local ACE Hardware has a huge assortment of 3mm socket, button head and tapered, plus all the nuts and washers to go with it. I've hauled my whole rig in there before just to get what I needed.

See if you have a local screw and fastner store in your area (you probably do even if you have never seen it). They will have everything you need and you can choose what type of head you want and sometimes the quality of the hardware. Also it is cheap as can be. I got everything I needed to set up my 4 link suspension (twice over, I like extras) for $1.37 including tax.

McMaster-Carr has a lot of fasteners. Probably not the cheapest. They have quick shipping and good information on the various materials and types.

Fastenal is another source. Our local store doesnt carry much in the small sizes, but can order whatever we might want/need - only drawback is they are a teensy bit on the pricey side at about 10/15 cents per screw, depending on size.

for a bulk purchase - Harley's has an excellent deal.

Fastenal, has really high prices.

I work with harley to help get our kits together, we took alot of vendors in comparison to make our prices.

You can ask anyone on RCC that has purchased our Kits, we have super fast shipping and great prices.

I got a Harley kit - satisfies pretty much everything except maybe the occasion really long and really short screw that you may need. The shorties you can make by grinding one down, but the long ones you'll have to buy somewhere else. Another site with great prices is nuttybolts.com - but unless you're buying a lot, the shipping adds up.

then buy those elsewhere - you're not really going to find a better deal than Harley has offered.
