Default RC4WD, Tranny R2 Crawler Edition, strenght enough or ... ??

Hi,
i'm building a scx10 scaler, but i want to use a R2 Crawler tranny, instead the axial.

I can use a Team Epic Monster Horsepower 25.5 sensored with 1700kv 3s powered without problems or maybe this tranny is not so strength?

The rest of the transmission is beefed enough ;)

Otherwise, i use the axial stock motor, 27t at 2s but i prefer the first setup ...

Thanks !!

I'm an R2 guy (with gear reduction and 1:1 speed) and I'm surprised that they're saying no...I really am. Anyways, if he says no, then don't do it. (I'd grease it up really good and let it rip...but that's just me)
