That is kind of what I'm looking for. I saw one somewhere that was basically like a round clamp and you ran driveshaft straight from motor to tcase. But that is nice. Only thing is it looks like you have to use a scx stock trans with it. If you know where to get the style I'm looking for let me know cause I can't find it.

Not really sure yet. I'm going to play with that as I go. I'm building it for more of a bouncer so wheel speed counts.

You looking for something like these?
Disruptor Ultra Compact Planetary Transmission
or
#87634 Reduction Gear Box Set (wheely King)

Both can be mounted up front and RCModelex has a 5mm upgraded output shaft for the HPI unit.

Ok I'm putting the best pic I have if the beast up in this post. What I'm wanting to do is get all of the elecrtical up in the nose so it is hidden away and I can do somewhat of a scaler out of it. If I get a motor mount that will fit up there I can run the rc4wd t case in the middle and the trans and motor will be out of site.

You can use a 2 speed transmission with the GCM one.

I apologize for my screw up but I just realized I put front motor mount. I meant to put motor clamp, not necessarily front motor mount. I think I have figured out what to do anyhow but you guys have gave me a ton of ideas and I appreciate it. Now what all has a 2spd tranny cause that would be nice to have so I can make this a 2 purpose rig as a rock bouncer and a trail/rock crawler so I could use low for the slow speeds and the high for the speed. Next question does that shift by means of a servo if so I am going to need a 4 channel remote for winch, tranny shift plus I want f&r steer. Oh boy looks like I have my work cut out for me and this is going to cost a bit more than what I set aside for this project.

Oh and also has anyone cut their scx trans down to make it like a low pro transfer case so to speak. I would like to do it cause I have 5-6 that are just sitting. I've searched a 1000 dif ways and can't find anything. Thanks for the help guys I know you will get me through this.
