| Introducing the Ottsix Voodoo U4
I'm posting this in hopes of collecting your comments and suggestions before I send the cad off to the factory to have the mold rendered. Size: 2.2 x 5.5 x 2.0 Compounds: silver, blue, red lugs: 5mm tall 1.9? Yes, in about a year. Though not an exact replica, our design inspiration came from the venerable Goodyear Wrangler MT: Last edited by crawl-o-matic; 03-21-2014 at 05:06 AM. |

Love your work buddy. I think you could possibly reduce the lug height as with the soft VEX compound you may see some folding issues. Either way this is going to be a great tyre. |

I'm with Camo in the fact of possibly reducing the tread height a little. Maybe the 3mm range. Looks like a solid tire design, I'll wait by the mailbox! You're never going to make everyone happy with the tire height and I am ready to ready 5 pages of "You should have made it XX" tall". |

Keep the lug height for longevity. I'll use more throttle to compensate for any leaning lugs. J |

I've beefed up the fillets on all the lugs all the way around, this should take care of any problems without reducing the the lug. Thank you for the suggestion!

Also, the blue and red compounds are much more stout than the gold and silver which will make them the go to compounds for speed.

I'd also say make sure that the sidewall is good, don't know if you remember the tearing problems that 1.9 pits had when they first came out. I really like, and will probably have a set when the 1.9's come out. |

They look great and I'm sure they'll perform equally Sidewalls look a little bare. Maybe add some info like the tire dimensions or such. |

Good looking tire, I think ottsix has another hit. The tread looks functional and scale. The sidewalls do lack that scale look somewhat since the wording doesn't go around the tire, IMO. I like the original specs including lug depth with a slightly stiffer compound. I also would like to see some sidewall reinforcement. Looking forward to trying a set on my Truggy. Its about 10 lbs, which compound would you recommend?
