| Hot Racing Remote Reservoir 120mm Shocks Hot Racing Remote reservoier IS Damper 120mm (2) They look like they are oil filled. It says oil reservoir in the description. Price is decent, My question is how is the quality? I know Hot Racing stuff is iffy on quality with some of their stuff. Anybody own these or know someone who owns these. I don't want to do hard bashing, just crawling, trailing, mudding, and a little bit of rock bouncing. I just want a large, scale (not large scale like 1/5 but like large and scale) oil filled reservoir shocks. Thanks. |

Hr has some good stuff. I wouldn't ever buy their shocks again though. Leaks bad from the one set I did buy. Luckily I just ground off the logo and slapped them on a scaler. Don't need much actual function past spring that way.

It was the bottom seals. O-rings. Try em on out. Maybe they'll be good. Maybe not lol. Just sharing my exp with HR shocks. I do like a lot of their parts still.

Ok cool. I might try them out but I will probably do a little more research on it.

My experience with them. Don't waste your time. They are not oil filled, they are air filled with an internal spring. The seals in the bottom of the shock are way too tight and cause the shock to be stiff. The reservoirs do work but with air not oil. I even went as far as to make the set work with oil epic fail as they leak like hell. Bottom line for the money and time wasted shoulda went with Gmade res shocks. |
