| virtual dream build ?
OK, lets get everyones idea of a "no-holds-barred" build if you had 1500 - 2000 dollars to spend I am thinking of purchasing an RCMODELX myself, and need some input from you guys, thanx

RCModelex has some terrific scale kits, as does RC4WD. If you want scale detail, one of their hard body kits would be the way to go. If you want all out performance, an Axial-based rig is probably a better bet. For me, as an all-out scaler, it's hard to beat a D110. It takes some work to max it out (interior takes some fabbing), but the results are worth it. Other contenders would be an FJ40-based build or one of the RCModelex truggies. For all-out performance, I would choose a Wraith- or Yeti- based build (maybe using a Mattzilla chassis). | |
