| Cant get wheels to tighten down on integy axkes
So i just put integy caster blocks, knuckles and cvds on my scx10, everything went together smoothly but now when I put the wheel on and tighten the nut its like the nut runs out of threads before it can snug up the wheel, basically the nut tightens up but the wheel acts like its loose. Anybody have any ideas? The only thing I can think of would be wider wheel hexes

It might have something to do with having axkes rather than axles... What wheels do you have? What hexes? Can you see any place that things are catching and not allowing the wheel to seat all the way? Picture of the issue? |

Spacing between the wheel pin and end of the threads is slightly different from stock. A 5mm washer between the nut and the wheel would do fine. Or a wider hex, either/or.

| Re: Cant get wheels to tighten down on integy axkes Integy is not leading the fore-front in quality... It may be a bad design on their part or it could also be related to the wheels you are using. Some wheels come with a washer/spacer for this reason and for strength. RPM wheels used to have that washer if I remember correct. Stick around long enough and you will hear it more than once, " you get what you pay for " and Integy product are not that expensive |

They were designed around a wide hex. Not sure why and they probably don't know why.

first off, I want to say I would recommend buying anything you can possibly buy aside from Integy. They're a terrible company with the worst products you can possibly find along with awful customer service. Obviously I know that because I bought from them too.....sigh...I hate learning the hard way. Most recently they refused to accept a return on two parts that would not work on the vehicle they were designed for, and also they sent me shocks with retainers that didn't fit and wouldn't send me new retainers either, but they said they did. Oh how I HATE INTEJUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You might have a small rib on your hex as I do with my AX10 Ridgecrest, and when I went to mount new wheels after installing new knuckles, the hex needed to have the rib removed before I could put anything on it. I tried J Concepts wheels, some buggy wheels I had sitting around and some HPI wheels; none would fit. I ran out of thread exactly like you're describing. Weird...but the dremel quickly solved that problem. |

If you want the best that money can buy look up a Dlux 1808. It makes the other options seem reasonably affordable.

I had the same problem with shafts from integy I had to use a washer so they would work. It has been less then a year and they are loose inside. So I took them apart and found out it is just worn out. If have not tried the vanquish shafts yet but I will be getting them.
