Default 100mm shocks for a Gelande 2 Cruiser ?????

Hi guys just wondering what the recommendations for a good set of shocks for the Cruiser would be.
P.s. good set of rims and tyres ideas would be good as well thanks for any ideas as always much appreciated.

I run 80mm old man emus on my cruiser and 90mm rock krawlers on my D90. Either length would work but I think 100mm would be too much for these rigs.

Here's my cruiser with RC4WD Atturo trail blades on Gear Head ENKs.

I agree - 100mm would be too long and unnecessary. The stockers are 80mm and seem fine. I've tried the 1.5 Growlers, 1.9 Rock Beasts and like these 1.9 Compass tires the best.

I'm also running the 80mm Old Man Emus with 5k diff oil on my 1.55 G2 FJ, and she's still pretty flexible. I think they're a good match for the G2. The 80mm allows the perfect amount of travel with a realistic ride height without bottoming out IMO...

I agree with the others that 100mm is too long. For coil overs in the 80-90mm range, King Scalers, RRD Emulsions and Proline Scalers are all very good (I run all 3). For internally sprung shocks, the Emus or Superlifts are good options, but you might want to consider the optional spring assortment for tuning if you go that direction.

There are a ton of wheel and tire choices, so it's hard to just throw things out there without having a feel for what you're looking for. I'd suggest checking out build threads and picture threads to see what catches your eye.
