Default 3racing Ex Real wheelbase

Doing a Ex Real project and plan to put on the Tamiya YJ body. The Ex Real says the wheelbase can be shortened. For the life of me i cant find directions where to make the modifications - before i start hacking, has anyone done this or can lead me to some direct? Apologies if it's on here, searched a few places but not seeing it - thanks in advance for any help!

I Just started my ex real build.
As i understand you can move the mounts on the chassis rails to get the wheelbase you want.
Think you need different links and maybe drive shaft.

I have never heard of this truck before but went to there site to look. Doesn't look too bad. My guess is after moving the links on the skid closer together, you may have to get shorter links. The ones from the kit may be able to be made shorter. If they are hollow aluminum cut to length desired and re-thread. Try to bias the links to take advantage of where the weight in the vehicle is. You may be able to take a bit more off the front links to put more weight of the transmission and motor up front. Not realy sure . Sometimes just changing to a different rod end is enough to get the length you need. You may be able to shorten the rod ends by cutting them. Just be carefull to leave enough for the thread to engage. I would try the rod ends first, they are much easier and cheaper to replace if it doesn't work. I have a TF2 Short Wheel Base. It has the YJ body also. I am running the leaf springs so changing wheelbase is more difficult. I also have the 4 link setup for it but like the looks of leaf springs, I have a 1:1 CJ5. Keep us posted how it works out and what was involved. Good luck
