| Advice on kit
Soo... I started crawling with an Everest 10, built a tube frame for. Then I got the a ecx barrage kit so I could build one to crawl with my bro in-law and nephews barrages. Now I知 looking to build a something a little nicer. I知 leaning towards either the element kit or the Trx kit. The element kit looks pretty quality from the one my hobby shop guy built. I like the trx kit just because it is Traxxas and I know they stand behind their products in the long run. Also it would be cool to build it into a unimog. I would appreciate opinions from people with both and I知 not planning on doing any comping with what ever I build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'll save you some time waiting for replies. 50 percent will recommend the TRX 35 percent will say the Element 15 percent will say what you didn't ask about |

I知 going to split my percentages.. lol I致e recently built a Capra and an scx10.3 both pretty fun builds and high end materials imo. I then bought a trx4 that was rough that I basically tore all the way down and rebuilt so kind of like building a kit but I did upgrade all the electronics and some hard parts. The trx is very user friendly and I知 happy with the final product. Between the trx4 and my Capra, those will be my main rigs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The Element kit is a great chassis.... Portals or not is your real choice. Both have great shocks and ability痴. Element has plenty of upgrades to beef it up. Hang up and Drive |

Well I ended up going with the trx4 kit. I was shooting for a$300 build. I really was digging on the element. Especially after seeing the ones the guys at the shop had built. But buying a body and a set of wheels and tires it was going to be pushing $400. They also had the umg10 kit that I was leaning towards but the guys at the shop said the trx was more solid rig. On a side note I may have to pick up a unimog body for the trx. The trx went together really easy. Thankfully for this forum I also picked up a 12t pinion and 45t spur. It maxes out at a slow jog with that gearing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Very nice! I like the color choice. I also built a Sport Kit and have been very happy with it along with the variety of aftermarket selection of parts.
