| HW1080 mount
Servo tape is just not cutting it. I need a way to solid mount the HW1080 to the side pan. Anyone know of a bracket/mount that fits the HW1080 to allow it to be hard mounted?

I made one with my 3d printer, clips on to esc then zip tied for security. Currently it's designed to mount the esc on its side with a single screw holding it into the chassis of my rr10. Very specific mount right now but could easily be adapted for a different way to mount the mount to something. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |

I found this on Thingiverse if your able to print one. You still have to use servo tape, but the sides hold it in place good. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I've been using Scotch Outdoor mounting tape for year to mount esc's, switches etc. When you first place it doesn't seem that strong but after it sits it grabs harder. Also easy to remove. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 can also get it at Walmart in the hardware isle.

That would work but I don't have a 3d printer. I could use a couple of zip ties to secure the ESC to the mount. Anyone willing to print me a half-dozen (6) of those? Send me a PM. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3681466 Last edited by Inspector86; 06-22-2020 at 03:45 PM.

Check eBay. It is meant for TRX4 as the mounting holes fit perfect. With this you would need to drill 2 holes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I need to mount the HW 1080WP to the TRX4 chassis with a simple mount like the one on thingyverse. I'm not interested in any tape or glue solutions and I don't need a fan so the one on ebay is over priced for what I want. This might be the excuse I need to finally buy a 3D printer.

Use E6000 or Goop. Holds very strong yet can be cleanly pealed off if you need to swap electronics.

I designed and 3D printed this for my Element frame. Not sure if the measurement between the rails is the same for a TRX4. It traps the ESC, no glue or tape. |

try shoe goo instead of tape, let it dry overnight it should hold great for you, can still be removed with a little force if you need to.
