Default Axial SCX10 iii Fast Eddies Bearings Discrepancy??

So I’m currently rebuilding axles and most parts of my axial SCX 10 three and I ordered some bearings from fast eddies which I get for all my vehicles and both of the bags that I got had 4 bearings that were not sealed anybody Know if these are 4 bearings that are actually used in some part of the vehicle let me know I’ve attached pictures I’ve never seen a fast Eddie bearing that’s been bad please, let me know! Buzz Buzzz.....

If I remember that build, those are internal bearings and are surrounded by grease.

^^ Mike's got it.

These should be 7mm ID x 14mm OD x 3.5mm wide. They are used on the AR44 axle diff locker. Axial doesn't supply them with seals either.

Huh, the ar60 axle uses sealed?

Are the axles tighter on an AR44?

They said ar44 but these are actually for the ar45 portals on the 10.3 and they’re open

Interesting. Must be used both places then. The Axial part number for the bearing is AX31406 and the Axial website says they are for the AR44 Diff locker. Although they don't say so, Fricker is right in that they are also used on the AR45 diff locker.

Looking at the manuals for the SCX10 ii and the SCX10 iii, the bearing is the only part common to the ring and pinion assembly of the AR44 and AR45 axles. I know the gearing is different with the portals so I guess that's why there are no other common parts.

Just out of curiosity, why are you changing out the bearings on your 10/3 so soon? The 10.3 hasn't been out that long. I'm fairly new to crawling so just wondering how soon bearing wear out.
