Has Wertymade Called it a Day?

It appears Werty products are disappearing from online shops and I cannot seem to find his web page. I gather this is the end?

If I’m not mistaken, I think I heard he closed up shop last year.

It’s sad. I have a few of his bumpers and they are top notch and heavy duty!

I Know I've been seeing them disappear and only have 2 of their bumpers and they are rock solid and they are the best scale steel bumpers I have purchased!! I did hear that amain has them at the local retail stores!!! I live in TN so im not making it there sadly.... BUZZZZZ......

I just did a little search and put an order in for a couple Wertymade stubby TRX4 bumpers on Swasey's Hardware and Hobbies.com lets see if they send them out ill keep you posted..... BUZZZZZ.......

I know with me and bumpers I either go cheap amazon, make stuff laying around fit or I send it to a local fabricator who I know will make it fit.

I end up cutting my chassis, changing chassis and body, cutting my body and nothing off the shelf seems to fit right.

I hear you!! I prefer to make myself but I have a local guy that has a full metal fabrication and 3D printing company and he is customer of mine im going to call him as he always offers to help.... BUZZZZZZ.......

For the most part, i find the same is true. Bumpers and Sliders are generally designed to fit stock configurations and bodies. More often than not to get a properly fitting piece I need to make it. That said I have on occasion also made adapters to lower pre-made bumpers.

I like your steel rod bumper from what I can see. It was smart to bend it down in the middle to lower your winch. Wish I could see how you have it mounting up to the chassis. I am currently brazing a rear bumper for my Enduro. I just finished a truggy-style cage for it but did not build the a bumper into the design

Hey Man I said I ordered some TRX4 Wertymade bumpers from a website called Swasey's and now the receipt says backordered so I contacted Wertymade through Shapeways and he has some stock left just has to be through him personally so as soon as he gets back to me ill let you and give you the info to get some stuff if he has what you may want!!!!!!

i always though wartymade was loosely a part of ckrc and the axial croud cause everytime i saw the guy was at events were both ckrc and axial were working so im not surprised to here he isent doing it anymore
