| Injora LCG Chassis and XR10 body
In early mock-up form the XR10 bod looks as if it is going to compliment the forward-bias layout nicely. Still got a ways to go getting it and the chassis lowered down as well as some figuring out where up front to put the battery. Lots of possiblities with this chassis Most of this rear section will be removed as it is no longer relevant ...and some off the front too depending on where the battery ends up. Getting it behind the servo would enable the body and chassis to be lowered a lot Last edited by psn; 12-05-2022 at 10:08 PM. |

I don't get it, you must be on the lcg group on bookface. The rig doesn't fit any classes which whatever, but you're basically building a sporty using a scaler chassis. Why not use a sporty chassis and have something that makes 100% sense to run and has a class with a pile of people that live in Jersey?

Yea there is a "LCG and cheater rigs" group that builds scalers that are 80% sporties but insist on keeping them on the scale side, it doesn't make any sense. Like using a decent scale chassis to make a sporty. Someone just discovered XR-10 axles and put a set under a scaler chassis the other day. It's wild to watch. I'm too old for Cheerios and not old enough for cream of wheat so I'll just drink a monster and go about my day. | |

Well, I for one don’t care what you call a rig or what class it’s supposed to run in. Just interesting cool builds that perform well, so keep them coming PSN. |

Looks good. I am building something similar, but with TRX4 axles. I have Scale types of rigs, but wanted to build something that would be from the ground up. Sometime the scale thing seems a bit odd to me with all the scale rules etc. Who cares if you have Barbie sized accessories, let's just crawl. :-) now if someone can come up with a scale fire extinguisher that actually works, then that would be something. Tried it out on the backyard mini course today and it works pretty well. The final ratio is ~45:1 so it seems okay to me. For $80 shipped (for both!) the axles are an absolute steal...as long as the rings and pinions don't shred like cheese. inboarded front shocks Last edited by psn; 12-28-2022 at 02:00 PM. |

Man that's some clean work. The result comes across as all business with an emphasis on precision engineering. Love the look of those axles btw. Really nice job.

Nice build, PSN! Are those Injora axles? My buddy has a set and is impressed with the quality, tho he hasn’t run them yet.

I picked up the same set of axles used off the classifieds a while ago on the cheap, wasn't sure where they came from or who made them. Pretty impressed with them so far, the gears and axles have been ok (I'm expecting them to fail) and the housings are pretty nice. I've added OD gears and some SSD brass and everything fit perfectly. They are a steal for $80 new. Ironically, I've got them on a lightweight chassis with the same 2.2's! |
