Milling one out of a nice chunk of aluminum would work really well, but im not undertaking that on my drill press. When i get some cash for my mill the shavings are gona fly though.

she has been running good, but i have one word of advice.

CVD'S SUCK!!!!

within a few runs i have broken three of the four. i switched to revo shafts and so far they run bullitproof. i had to mod the steering and do a few other mods to accomodate them. i suppose i can post up pics since im star happpy now!

i was running dynamite cvd's. cheapie cheapie. revo shafts and knuckles now solve all driveline issues. they have zero play and crazy loading ability.

i figured i would post up some newer shots of the maxx crawler since i worked on it a little. i keep stripping out servo horns though. i dont have much room around the servo horn because of the skidplate. the steering needs to be remounted again but it works for now. its actually too easy to drive for most places that i have been around here. the clearance is just crazy, and the CG is so low that it will sideslip very steep slopes.

yep, just one per axle. since the chassis and the upper links are one and the same, it only needs one per side. two can be used, but they have to be set up with "droop" so that it will articulate both directions.

yeah yeah. im running moabs and some other 40 dirt hawg or something. i just realized that i have two sets of tires in that pic. the zombie max are really grippy, but very short. they would work well on a sturdy tlt width axle. since i have a mill i should just make something up.
