Default if you could build it what chassis?

i am building chassis now and i am at a point where i want to build one for myself but since i built quite a few, i am at a loss at what to build for myself ,i don't want to build something i have done already so i got to thinking "if i could build it what would it be"? so anybody out there that has an idea of what they would like to see built i would like to give it a shot ,not to sell it just to see if it can be done close enough to the real thing as possible.either using axial axles or wraith axles .this is more of a "i wish i had the time and tools to do that build' i am unemployed right now and need to stay busy doing something or anything.just trying to get some ideas on what people would like to see . moderators if this is not in the right section please delete.

well I'm not sure what you've built or your skill level but I've always liked these rigs.

I've always dug Twisted Customs rigs as well, its what I based my KOH rig loosely on. Here's an example

Instead of copies of full sized rigs, I've always like to see something totally original. It's neat to see a miniature copy of something, but I'd rather see something that you would build yourself, in your own garage if you were making a full size rig.

i've been browsing the ford section over on pirate4x4. especially these ones...

building of the party barge - Pirate4x4.Com

and....

79 F-150 build - Pirate4x4.Com

take a look and see what you can find doesnt have to be ford specific either.

When I lived in Indonesia, some 20 years ago, I remeber a local artist who owned an old 120 landrover. It was yellow & had indonesian tapastries used for the seat upolstry & it was done up like an old woodie with inlaid bamboo wood paneling on the outside & ratan trim on the door pannels and interior. It was one funky looking landrover. had cavas sarfari top. Always wanted to model one. I just love the old rover bodies & there aren't many options for production bodies unless you get a late model like the defender.

I built this as what I'd like to build in 1:1. Originally I was going to a copy of my 1:1 but thought why, build something new.

Warriorsimi, you obviously have some skills so the bug is pretty sick. Is there a functional reason you went with the peak roof? Just curious.

The bottom rig looks like a tube version of a 30's pickup. It's a little too southern buggy for my taste but the craftsmanship is obviously high. Interested to see more of your work.

the peak roof was more of a rock racer/koh look i wanted to have.the rock bucket was a copy of a 1.1 that was built in a barn somewhere in arkansas.click on my signature below for more pics.

Build a low profile single-seater. But do it your way. You have the talent. Will be watching.
