I see these things all over town,Amazon, & Ebay for around $10-$11. Mine Came from a Local chain store called Batteries Plus. The pocket clip is magnetic and these are really handy, the LEDS are extremely bright, enough to where you don't want to look directly into them. Anyway the black housing looks like it can easily come off and make for a great scale looking light bar that is very bright with little cost or effort. When laying flat like it would on a roof or bumper Its 93mm wide at the base of the housing 16mm tall and 14mm depth. I haven't made one into a light bar but I might pick up another just for that reason. ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Nope. As I have said I just picked it up and haven't made one, But I plan to pick up another and give it a shot. A styrene housing or something should work ok. Dimensions listed in the first post but, here are some quick and dirty mock ups on a NewBright TJ & Proline XJ Cherokee ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Looks like I'm going to have to steal this idea from you. Should look pretty scale once modified. Hows the light output?

| ![]() Go for it! Its very bright. Enough to where it hurts to look directly at it. It can light up a room when pointed at the ceiling better than a candle, that's for sure. It runs on 3 AAA's. Do you plan to make a new housing and just use the LEDS?

i use these when working on my 1:1 car and the output is VERY bright! Not quite scale enough, but if you just want light on your rig on a budget, these are bright!
