Default building a big truck.

Hi peeps. Theres talk of a potential build off on scale4x4 based on a road registered car/truck for street duties.

I have a half started 6th scale F350 hardbody project and trying to decide what driveline should go under it.
Its heavy. Full steel chassis floorpan and cage.

Do I run 10th scale suspenion ie: buggy ifs and axial or similar rear axle
Or
8th scale buggy independent all round

Going to be running a nitro engine 0.21 size front mounted in the engine bay.
Thoughts?

Personally, I would go with the solid (axial, etc) rear axle since it is more scale. I'm pretty sure all the ford trucks have a solid rear axle.

Yeh so for the scale factor go live axle for sure. Ok. So my next thought is wether to run it four wheel drive or just rear wheel drive.
Its probably going to be running a set of hpi short course treps or something of similar size in 2.2

Large nitro powered scaler? Sounds neat! Dont know the width so I can't really say what axle to use but I would use a tmaxx trans for it. Its ment for a heavy truck and has reverse. I would be careful though because a wipe out will obliterate any hardbody at speed.

was thinking of using a summit trans for two speed, but Tmaxx sounds much more intelligent. reverse would be nice to have for sure.
