| Preferred position for cms
Was wondering what the is a preferred position for the servo is when doing a cms? I've seen them mount across the back of the front bumper mount and along the chassis rail like a real steering box or doesn't it matter just where you have room.

As long as the arm is parallel to the ground location doesn't matter, the characteristics will be the same. Weight distribution will change. I have mounted them with the arm 90* or perpendicular to the ground for clearance reasons, this works but can cause some chassis/suspension movement as the servo cycles. |
