Default Brass knuckles

I have browsed around quite a little bit and haven't really found a yes or no answer. Will brass knuckles wear out faster than say plastic or aluminum knuckles because its a soft metal?

No exactly, I have had my brass knuckles on my heavy 10 lbs wraith for almost a year and still in very good working condition.

I’d think they would hold up better than plastic.
