Interesting, though an unfortunate name seeing as TGH has the Sherpa chassis.

At first glance it has a lot in common with the TRX4.

A few differences are axle mounted servo and a 4 link with panhard in the rear which I dont quite understand, if they're adding a panhard to the rear why not do a 3 link?

I'm really looking into this one. For sure not as named as a traxxas or Axial, but also cheaper.. Just checked their page and they have having spare, you can buy the car in pieces and assembly it yourself.. Also the prices for pieces seems like half or less than the other brands..

Not knowing the quality or durability, it's for sure a full feature... Leds, 2 speed that actually notices, dif locks.
But want to have more feedback before deciding. Here it seels for the same price as the TRX4 sport.. With everything that TRX4 has.

The dual diameter wheels (looks like 2.2" on the inside of the wheel, 1.9" on the outside of the wheel?) are an odd touch that doesn't have any tire selection, and isn't allowed by many competitions rules. As already pointed out, the link setup in the rear is crap. You can't run dual triangulated links AND a panhard bar on one axle, if it moves at all, it's only due to slop in the components. Looks like it's made mostly from oversights and afterthoughts.

Yeah, right...like most of Axial products. Who gives a hoot about stuff you would change anyway from the get go?? The Trxsport and this rig are probably the best two budget options for a decent trail truck in the moment. Its funny that there are so many haters but nobody actually has the truck in the US.
@ Dr.Lion...lots of info on this board . https://www.rockcrawler.de/thread/41...52#post1336952

With the panhard, i would say you could remove upper ones, at least like the 1:1, of course if no slop...

Regarding wheels it's easy... Just change them
My biguest doubt would be the durability, when you go for a traxxas/hpi you know what to expect.. IN this case i don't..

The Yikong yk410pro is a "chinese" version of trx4/sherpa?

Yikong is the maker of both cars the sherpa and the yk410pro
I dont know if they actually wanted to copy the TRX4 but it plays in the same division.
For parts ...well Absima certainly has lots of things stock so has AMEWI they call it amx rock rcx10p...until now all the guys in GER who have one are pretty happy ...no problems whatshowever.

Any updates on this car? From anyone that actually owns it and have been running it a while? Any deal brakers?

I’ve got one.

Overall I love it. I use a 3s Lipo, so is quick but very controllable at low speed.

The lights are great (I disconnected the indicators though). The 2 speed gearbox is good and the locking diffs work well.

So far seems tough and reliable.

Downsides - the tyres are poor - soft but not grippy at all on mud or crawling. The wheels are plastic beadlocks but with that weird sizing you can’t reuse to factor in cost of wheels and tyres.

The suspension was far too stiff, it barely moved crawling. I’ve changed to softer spring and is far better but now tyres can catch body at full articulation so might get slightly longer suspension. Other that that it’s great

Thanks mate. Seems like a pretty good package for that price.
