Anyone know what size action figures will fit in here? I saw a video where a 1/12 scale figure was too big. Any thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Almost a straight guess as there's not really anything to judge scale by (maybe throw a dollar bill out there?) but it looks about GI Joe scale? Like a 3 3/4 or 4 inch figure?

That looks just like their 1/18 stuff. Take wheel base measurements and compare to to 1:1 wheel base. That will give you the proper scale. But at the same time scale size of a figure doesn't mean anything just like scale of a rc. Avg person of 5'7 scales down to 5.6". Ya math sounds weird on that one but 5ft 7 inches is 5.58 ft. So convert to inches means multiple by 12. Then scale down is divide by 12 in this case. Chances are the "1/12" is probably more 1/14 or 1/16 scale. The 7" Walking Dead figures purchased at most Walgreens are "almost" perfect in the upper torso/head/shoulder area. Too tall to keep the whole body. If you want to keep the legs, then I recommend cutting off the pelvis, hot gluing the legs back on in a sitting position and "sculpting" another pelvis from the hot glue with a little paint. Also cutting off the back of the thigh will help get them lower. That is exactly what I did for 3.75" figure in my FJ45 (linked here Builder's Notes: FJ Series from The Hardbody Crawler Co and https://www.instagram.com/tv/Cnv5q2B..._web_copy_link) Every figure I've tried that "fits" without cutting looks too small in the head and shoulder proportions. I'd stick with 6" and 7" inch figures with a re-sculpted pelvis. |
