That truck looks sweet. I see the deans connector in the back. Why do you have the battery in the back?

Pretty sure it doesnt fall into a class, 2.2's are 12.5 wb, and super class is minimum of 16" and maximum of 18" wb.

My king isnt a crawler anymore. Its a jumper/dune climber/basher and I almost have it 50/50 weight distribution. more like 40/60 so she jumps pretty evenly. It also sits so low that even when climbing dunes the front usually stays down.
oh yeah that deans is to a 5000mAh 2cell lipo.. badass battery!!

2.2 is everything with 2.2 size rims and under a 12.5 inch wheelbase.
If it exceeds anything like the wheelbase is 12.7 inches, then its a super.

Super class is 16-18".

"Class 1 - Super Crawler Class:
• 2.2.1 - Vehicle wheelbase is limited to a minimum of 16 inches and a maximum of 18 inches."

No biggie, I'm only a custom chassis away from the super class. I'll probably do 4 wheel steering first. Looks like you got 4ws in the works on your rig, Inflames, how are you gonna control it?

Yeah ill be using 4ws, i will be using a dx6 on it by the time im doing comps with it so i will be able to control the back and front at the same time or independently.

Great so far, The scrapes mess up the texture but dont go through and show the old paint. I only did one thin coat of mod podge. If i were to do it again, I would do 2 or 3. This paint job is also great for touch up. If the old paint did start showing through, or if I just wanted to clean up an area, I could easily spray more rubber stuff and mod podge over it and it would blend right in perfect. I probably wont do all my bodies in complete rhino lining, but I will use it on truck beds and on nerf bars. I plan on spraying the front and rear bumpers of my slash with it soon.

Sounds like some pretty good stuff. What exactly is it? Which Brand? I think that I might spray the lower quarter of my body with that, similar to some full sized rigs with the bedliner.

this is mod podge, you can get it at a craft store or maybe even wal-mart.

this is rubberized undercoating, I got this at wal-mart a few years ago and it has been sitting in my garage since. I dont know if wal-mart still carries this stuff, and if they do the label might be different.

the only technique to spraying the texture it is to not get too close or spray to much paint.

Thank you. I'm going to give it a shot on my next body.

Here is an update on my WK

Best mod I've done is putting the batteries on the upper links. I got 3 cells on each side. I also got a 65t motor and got rid of the gear reduction. I flipped the shocks and changed the mounting points on the chassis. I truck has got great flex right now.

Torque twist is an issue I haven't been able to solve and if you look the bottom of my front diff, you can see it is starting to grind away. I'm guessing I will have to get a new axle case but if anyone knows something I can put on it let me know.

I really like the 1st pic. Looking good!! Where did you get the steering linkage. It looks cool with the bends in it, plus it looks really strong.
