The rig has been sold to a guy locally. I actually had the rig for about a week messing around with it programming the esc for him. I drove it a few times and its drives very well. I ended up having to grind down the shock mounts on the axle in order to let the truck flex freely, though. It's also running white Rovers now and it's a sportsman beast

It was still working extremly well. I did sell it to a local guy since i have a Billet works Designs WK pro rig. But i am almost regretting selling it. It was a fun rig to drive. I can always build another one, I still have my chassis templates.

Update. I ended up buying this rig back.
I have changed up the upper links a bit. I crawls alot better now.
I am trying to dial in the shocks. Its tough because the rig is so light.
I am working on a better version of my homemade driveshaft dig like i run on my BWD comp wk.

so any word of sendin' a guy a copy of this chassis? I made something similar and very crude looking compared to this for my boy's king, does ok, i have to find what i can do about the battery situation tho, i'm too cheap to buy him lipos. I'm thinking I'll just saddle all of my stick packs and axle mount them front and rear. i originally made it out of cutting board on both sides, but lost a lot of strenght on the motor side, so one is cutting board, and the other aluminum. Again, it's looking a bit crude, but when money is in short supply, ingenuity comes into play. Eventually I'll paint up the aluminum side black to match.

rottonbelly as far as i'm concerned, this is one of THE BEST chassis upgrades on here, the one i made worked awsome, great job! Also on a side note, if you feel your axles are too wide, go with the axial xr10 beadlocks, they make the king about the same width as the ax!

I thought I'd bump this old post, rottenbelly's made a great chassis for the wheely king, also note the post about xr10 beadlocks to narrow your axle width!!
