| My crawler king
Whats up everyone. This is my new to me crawler king. I sold my last nitro and bought this, having a ball with it so far. Bought a DNA chassis and RC4WD Rockstars off ebay. Only put the wheels on so far, want to put 4 wheel steering on it also. |

That looks good man. The purple goes well with the silver. Now, go get it dirty!

My younger brother just bought a lightly modded c.k. on Craigslist after we took my converted w.k. out for it's maiden voyage on Christmas eve. Can't wait to hit the rocks up this weekend. I'm glad I got this instead of a slash like most of buddies, especially since the local track is being torn down. (milestone in socal) |

Just an update, i installed the DNA chassis i guess i got the links right. Just came as a box of parts. The flex in this thing is retarded. Waiting on servos and punisher shafts, shocks. |

Looks good. Just put some pieces of fuel tubing over the shaft of the shocks on the inside. It will lower the ride height and reduce the flex.

Looks good man really like that chassis. I suggests sorter shocks that looks like the cog is going to be super high and make It tip easy.

Finally pulled it out of mothballs and started working on it again . Ordered bunch of parts Got shorter shocks clocked the motor . I'll post pics as I finally finish this build. Still articulates like crazy. Sent from my HTC0P3P7 using Tapatalk |

That's Level3 RC's LowCG mount. It works, but is not engineered well: The stock chassis is too narrow for it to fit, and the stock upper wishbone cannot be installed with it. The HPI Gear Reduction box would be a real challenge to install, so I have a 55T motor for this instead. :( I built my frame 1/2" wider than stock, and as you can see, the upper link had to be a custom-made item, and mounts to the outside of the frame. The upper links on Fat's rig here look like they will hit the motor? Last edited by killbucket; 06-30-2014 at 03:21 AM. |
