I like it. Definitely different. How tight is it though? Any chance the servo could work it's way out of the clamp?

I didn't tighten the screws very tight (its only tapped 1/8" aluminum) and its in there pretty solid. I can't move it with my hands and I don't exactly have office hands. If it works its way loose I will scuff up the metal and servo with some coarse sandpaper and go from there.

If it does loosen up, you could also put dubble sided tape on the top and bottom of the servo and then clamp it. I'm sure that would definitely keep it in place. | |

Double sided tape is a good idea; I like the idea of that little bit extra shock absorption that it would add. I was going to do it right away but the longest 4-40 screws the hardware store had were 1 inch, and they are perfectly flush with the bottom plate.

And I also need some dimensions for the clocking plate, maybe the total width in mm of each would be great!! thanks in advance guys... |

Is the template still posted anywhere that mounts the servo towards the side of the axle? Thanks, Jim |
